Injections

Botox® (Oculinum)
Oculinum (Botox) is an injectable form of sterile, purified botulinum toxin. The drug temporarily prevents contraction of a muscle for several months at a time and can be used to treat facial and eyelid spasm.

Avastin® and Lucentis®
Avastin and Lucentis are used to treat macular degeneration. Lucentis has been shown to slow, and in some cases reverse, some vision loss in people with advanced age-related macular degeneration. Lucentis and Avastin are both injected directly into the eye and work similarly. For people facing vision loss due to age-related macular degeneration, these treatments can mean a better quality of life for the future.

Triamcinolone (Kenalog®)
Triamcinolone is a steroid medication that has been used to treat intraocular inflammation such as cystoid macular edema, diabetic macular edema and wet macular degeneration.
